I have a LLC where I organize retreats. I have 2 retreats to Greece in 2017. The costs for the retreats have been paid in 2016, but all expenses (plane tickets, hotels, meals, etc.) will accrue in 2017. How do I prepare my tax forms where I will have a high income in 2016 but no expenses to deduct until 2017?
